Elizabeth works as a research assistant on a variety of projects funded by Cisco. Her principle foci have been evaluating Cisco’s 21st Century Skills Initiative on the Gulf Coast and helping to develop a diagnostic tool based on Cisco’s Education 3.0, a vision for the future of education in the US and abroad. Prior to joining EDC has worked in a number of positions both internationally and in the US. Whether directing youth-led community development projects in Panama and Costa Rica, writing policy memos with recommendations to help better the education system in New York City, coaching high school field hockey, or teaching science to third graders at an international school in Quito, Ecuador, all of her work has been related to education development in some capacity. Elizabeth holds an M.A. in International Education Development from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Vassar College.
