Camille joined CCT in August 2008 to assist in the research of biology education and 21st century school reform. Camille has 10 years of experience in the education field as an educator, an administrator, and a researcher. She has taught high school science, written teacher professional development workshops and participated in extensive data collection, analysis and reporting to facilitate school district planning. She has also developed education programs for the New York Hall of Science, The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Prospect Park Alliance.
With an M.U.P. in Urban Planning, she brings the much needed expertise of systems thinking to the education table. Camille's own interest lies in the belief that education cannot be understood outside the larger context of urban systems. Specifically she is concerned with the provision of quality basic education for all and the identification, implementation and development of systems to support that endeavor based on individual place context.
In addition to her Masters, Camille holds a B.S. in Biology.
