Building a classroom learning community: three instructional design principles for a Web 2.0 world

Dr. Daniel Light presented two papers at the Global Learn Asia Pacific 2011 conference in Melbourne, Australia. The first, "Building a classroom learning community: three instructional design principles for a Web 2.0 world" proposes three principles of using Web 2.0 tools in the classroom and was named "Outstanding Paper" at the conference.

The second paper, "Using classroom assessment to promote 21st century learning in emerging market countries" was co-authored by Jon K. Price, Ph.D (Intel Corporation), CCT's Elizabeth Pierson, and Dr. Light, and reviews six assessment strategies that should be part of a 21st-century learning environment.
