Students with Disabilities
Students with disabilities bring tremendous assets to the classroom that often go unrecognized. Most of these students already engage in creative problem solving, understand multiple perspectives, and recognize the value of collaboration and persistence at a very early age—critical skills that all students can use. Efforts to design curricula need to recognize and incorporate these assets, thereby enriching the learning experience for all young people.
