While technology holds great potential to help teachers and administrators overcome inequities in the classroom or school system, it can also perpetuate and amplify existing inequities. Because of this, it is vital that research focus on demonstrating and promoting ways in which technology can be designed and employed to help nurture diversity and promote equity.
