The National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education Institute of Education Sciences (IES) have announced their shared $15million investment in the new national Center for Advancing Elementary Science through Assessment, Research, and Technology (CAESART), to be led by CCT's Dr. Megan Silander.

The center seeks to address the nationwide gap in the availability of high-quality science instruction and assessment for young students (grades K-2).
