Computational Thinkiing—and Math—and Preschoolers

The development of computational thinking skills is critical for preparing preschool children to engage with the technologies that have become essential for future learning.

In their new article "An exploratory approach for investigating the integration of computational thinking and mathematics for preschool children," CCT researchers Heather Lavigne, Ashley Lewis Presser, and Deborah Rosenfeld report on two exploratory studies that look at how young children and their teachers engage with activities focused on the skills of sequencing, modularity, and debugging.
