CCT research scientist Naomi Hupert will present a workshop at the upcoming Early Childhood STEM Conference in Pasadena California. The conference, presented by the Children’s Center at Caltech, in collaboration with THINK Together, is designed to promote and increase awareness of the importance of introducing STEM education in early childhood.
In “Engaging Preschoolers in STEM through Public Media: Resources, Supports, and Impacts,” Hupert and her colleague, Dr. Ximena Dominguez from SRI Education, will introduce public media resources to support math and science learning that they have designed, used, and studied in their research work with preschoolers in classrooms and at home. The workshop will take place on Friday, February 3, from 1:00–2:30 PM in the Santa Barbara room of the Hilton Pasadena.
