Hi-Tech Preschool Science for Low-Income Families

In "Preschool Science at Home: PEEP Family Science Apps Help Low-Income Families Engage in Digital Learning," EDC's Dr. Megan Silander and WGBH Education colleague Gay Mohrbacher discuss the findings from a recent research study of an in-home science program based on the PBS series PEEP and the Big Wide World. The research was implemented with cooperation from two established home visting organizations—AVANCE and HIPPY USA—with materials designed to be used by low-income families without any special resources or new technology.
