Margaret Honey Accepts Strategic Position with Wireless Generation; Strategic Directors Assume Her Leadership Role

Tuesday, May 1, 2007

After close to a decade as CCT director, Margaret Honey has decided to pursue an exciting opportunity to join Wireless Generation, a developer of handheld-based assessment and professional development software. The move extends a lengthy relationship between Margaret, Wireless Generation, and CCT, dating back to the developer's founding.

While the decision closes one chapter in Margaret's 22-year career on the CCT staff, CCT's longtime collaborations with Wireless Generation ensure that we will continue to work together as colleagues in a new capacity. Margaret was the third director in CCT's 26-year history. There are no immediate plans to identify a replacement. Cornelia Brunner, associate director, will serve as interim director.

Though the staff will miss her presence, she leaves in place a team of strategic directors primed to assume her leadership responsibilities in their areas of expertise:

  • Cornelia Brunner, interim director
  • Daniel Light, international
  • Katherine McMillan Culp, research and evaluation
  • Babette Moeller and Bill Tally, teaching & learning tools
  • Shelley Pasnik, kids and media
