The Center for Children and Technology is pleased to continue our research and evaluation work on the Ready To Learn Initiative, thanks to a new five-year, multi-million-dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Innovation and Improvement to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and PBS.
"Through this investment by the Department of Education, we can help children in high-poverty neighborhoods have access to research-based education content, preparing them to learn and setting them on a path to become American graduates," said Pat Harrison, President and CEO of CPB, acknowledging the importance research has played in developing and ensuring the effectiveness of RTL learning materials.
The announcement of the new grant from CPB and PBS is available here.
