Session review: The Assessment of 21st Century Skills

Tuesday, June 28, 2005

Policy makers take note: the U.S. is lagging far behind other nations in developing the assessment of content knowledge and skills that students will need in the 21st century workplace. Margaret Honey of the EDC Center for Children and Technology described their review of assessments currently available. The results? We?re doing a lot of assessing, but not on the right stuff.
