CCT Director Shelley Pasnik is quoted in a new Laptopmag.com article "Be a Better Tech Parent." The average teenager (13-17) sends 100 texts per day; four percent of US kids 4-8 own and use their own cell phones. Pasnik reminds parents that they set cell phone rules long before their child gets her own. "Oftentimes, a child's first introduction to cell phones is their parents' cell phones," she said. "What sort of ways are the parents using them that are providing a model for the child?"
