The U.S. Department of Education's latest efforts to address declining academic achievement in math are described in an article in EducationWeek that highlights new funding for CCT's long-running Math for All project. 

The goal of Math for All is to give educators the tools they need to improve math instruction, rather than attempting to recover from declining achievement after the fact. "Let's not go back to where we were," says Dr. Babette Moeller, who leads Math for All, "but let's try to figure out a way we can improve the system ... and help students be more successful."
