Constance Kim, research associate at the Center for Children and Technology, has worked in the fields of research and education since 1997. Her most recent work includes examining the system-wide implementation of the Grow Report, a Web-based assessment tool designed to help teachers apply test scores to their instructional practice, in New York City. The Grow Report helps New York City teachers keep track of the academic results of all 450,000 students in grades 3 through 8. In another project, Constance is researching educational technology program models at urban school districts as part of an effort to build a framework for creating sustainable educational technology initiatives.

Prior to joining CCT, Constance team-taught 5th grade at the Park School, a private progressive school in Brooklandville, Maryland, and high school Philosophy and Speech/Debate at the Phillips Academy Summer Session. In addition, Constance worked with the preschool educational show "Blue's Clues" in formative research, and with Applied Research and Consulting as a project manager, designing, fielding, analyzing, presenting and managing qualitative and quantitative research projects.

Constance holds a Master's degree from the Harvard School of Education, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Haverford College.
