This project explored the kinds of learning environments that best support teachers and students in becoming reflective readers and visually literate viewers of news media. To inform the Times, EDC's Center for Children and Technology examined technical options and pedagogical approaches that encourage sustained study of current events and the media in technology-based classrooms.
