Working with EDC's Center for Children & Families, CCT helped support the development of the Language and Literacy Together section of PBS's Parents Web site by providing formative research into the ways parents navigate through the Web site and locate information relevant to their specific concerns. CCT also assessed the ways that parents use the site's online and offline activities. To collect the formative data, CCT used a series of focus groups, interviews and observations of parents in homes and in out-of-home settings. Findings from this research phase were incorporated into additional content developed for the site.
