Access Excellence is an online teacher enhancement program that helps biology teachers gain access to colleagues, scientists, new research, and new teaching ideas. The program's Web site uses discussion groups, resource libraries and online seminars. We evaluated the effectiveness of the program and the relative advantages of different approaches to online teacher development.
