The ON_DEC (Our Neighborhood_Digital Education Community) initiative, sponsored by the Chase Manhattan Foundation, provides all teachers, administrators, and students at the Ditmas Intermediate School in Brooklyn, New York, with home access to computers and the Internet. CCT worked with the foundation to undertake a comprehensive needs assessment at the Ditmas School to determine the ways in which networked computers can be used to support teaching and learning.
