The Exploratorium, a leader in the movement to promote museums as educational centers, has asked CCT to examine the issue of digital-mediated learning, policy and school reform and author a draft position paper on educational technologies for the museum. Housed within the walls of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium is a collage of hundreds of science, art, and human perception exhibits. Online since 1993, the Exploratorium was one of the first science museums to build a site on the World Wide Web.
