Martha Rodriguez, on leave as a doctoral graduate student in cultural anthropology at CUNY Graduate School, is an Associate Project Director at the Center for Children and Technology (CCT).
At CCT she is currently carrying out research on the "Digital Divide"; she evaluates the implementation of school and community education and technology programs in New York City public schools and community centers.
She has strong experience in teaching and research on Latinos in the U.S. as well as the culture and history of the Caribbean. Over the last eight years she has taught as an adjunct in the City University of New York (CUNY) system, both in English and Spanish. She has participated in or organized several national/international conferences and cultural events, most recently the Havana Film Festival - New York 2001 and 2002.
