ClassLink Evaluation
2002 to 2003

To understand and help state and federal policy makers identify challenges that technology-rich schools face in maintaining and expanding their infrastructures, CCT investigated the efficacy of a thin-client technology infrastructure in an urban New Jersey school district. We wexamined how middle schools use their technology infrastructures and what students produce with the aid of these infrastructures. CCT conducted interviews with school administrators and technology coordinators; interviewed a sample of classroom teachers; surveyed teachers and students; and discussed student work representative of the types of things that students can do with technology.
