In this project, we explored the use of telecommunications technology to support three key themes of educational reform in Union City, N. J.: student-driven inquiry, portfolio assessment and parent involvement. In addition to generating extensive knowledge about high-speed networking in schools, the project created training programs that helped teachers integrate Internet resources into the curriculum.
