The National Academies Press has published Learning Science: Computer Games, Simulations, and Education, edited by CCT's former director, Margaret Honey, and Margaret Hilton. The book reviews research on science learning through interaction with digital simulations and games, and considers the potential of using these technologies both in schools and in informal settings outside of schools. Highly regarded researchers were commissioned to submit papers on various aspects of these topics, which were then compiled in this volume; one of these experts was CCT's director of research, Katherine McMillan Culp. Her paper, "Response to Learning Context" is available as a pdf, above. The entire text of the book is online.
