We conducted research to formatively evaluate a collaboration between the New York Foundation for the Arts and the United Federation of Teachers/New York City Teacher Centers Consortium to improve student performance in math and reading in NYC public schools through ongoing arts-based professional development for teachers. As part of our evaluation, we investigated the program's impact on students and teachers.
