The goal of the KidCode project was to create an e-mail-based software prototype for children ages 5 to 10 to develop conceptual links between concrete mathematical activities and mathematics as a language. CCT conducted formative research and consulted the design of the software and the accompanying teacher resource materials. This project was funded by a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Science Foundation.
