Data Collection Tools

This repository contains data collection instruments that have been developed for use during Ready To Learn (RTL) research studies, and will be updated with new instruments as they are commissioned. Access is free. The repository’s purpose is to facilitate research on the learning outcomes that result from use of the RTL digital resources by other early learning researchers and practitioners within their own contexts (e.g., homes, early learning classrooms, community centers) and for their own purposes. Ready To Learn is a multi-year partnership between the U.S. Department of Education, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and the Public Broadcasting Service and has as its goal to support the learning of young children through the development and dissemination of educational media including video, apps, games and other activities.
