The National Science Foundation has funded an innovative new study in which episodes of the popular telenovela La Fuerza de Creer will include activities to model informal science learning for children. The research team will collaborate with Univision, Literacy Partners, Latinx families, and science advisory boards to develop a culturally responsive approach to engaging children in science; the series also will provide positive role models of Latinx scienctists.
