We worked with the Hudson County Community College and its Division of Continuing Education to oversee the distribution of a course determination survey, developed by EDC/CCT, to community residents surrounding the Housing Authority of the City of Union City. The survey helped determine which courses would be offered at the newly completed Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) space at the Hillside Pavilion. We collected the results of the survey, analyzed the returns, and reported to the college on the courses the community would be interested in taking. In addition, we developed an evaluation form in conjunction with the college that assesses the reaction of the residents who take the courses offered by the College as part of the HSIAC grant. We distributed, collected and analyzed the returns on the course surveys.
