After School Technology Program
1999 to 2000

We worked with staff and related personnel from two The After School Corporation-funded programs to train, assist, and advise afterschool programs in the use of computer-based technologies to support and enhance teaching and learning. The After School Corporation (TASC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality and availability of in-school and afterschool programs in New York City, New York State, and eventually across the nation. Since its inception in April 1998, TASC has built a solid partnership with the City of New York, the New York City Board of Education, state officials and agencies, city governments and school districts throughout the state, as well as with local community-based and other not-for-profit organizations. With these partners, TASC is working to create a cost-effective network of high-quality in-school and afterschool programs serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
