In January 2007, Regional Educational Laboratory for the Northeast and Islands (NEIREL) re- ceived a technical assistance request from New York State's Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) for informa- tion about statewide health, mental health and education collaborations that exist outside of New York State. In particular, she wanted to know about the methods that other states and countries are using to monitor and evaluate the impact of these collaborations.
